John Wainwright

John Wainwright died in September 2018 but his body was kept in a freezer until it was discovered in August 2020.

His cause of death is not known. His body was found to have blunt force trauma injuries.

The man who kept his body in the freezer was later convicted of preventing the lawful and decent burial of a body and three counts of fraud. He had used John Wainwright's bank card to withdraw money from cash machines, pay for goods and transfer money to his own account between September 2018 and May 2020.
